Dear student,

Brittle materials are those materials which can be easily broken in nature by hammering or by pressing it.

Brittle materials mainlyincludes glass, ceramic, graphite, and some alloys in which cracks can initiate without plastic deformation. Also these covalent bonds are loosely bounded in these. Also these can be easily broken in contact with a high heat.
