If you have no particular interest in any of the 2, I would say computer science has greater scope. Data Science is only an intersection of statistics with computer science.And although immensely popular and high paying these days, data science is also a narrow field of computer science. This is to say that if you end up disliking data science, you would not have many options left. However, in case of computer science, there is so much to explore! Example if you end up having an inclination towards biology, you could start building career in computational biology, or lets say in mechanics, then you could direct yourself towards robotics.
