Computer Science Engineering (CSE) and Civil Engineering both have their own different perspective and fields. The fist branch is the one whose scope is increasingly rising nowadays while the other is one of the oldest -established branch of engineering.

If you want to get a job soon after graduating and want to get a lucrative package then you should choose Computer science engineering (CSE). You can also select based on other factors like your interest in Computers and Coding. In contrast, if would like to get government jobs where you are your own boss, you have your own timing and want to have job security then you should choose civil engineering. The package here is not as lucrative as CSE but you can get nice placement in this too. The number of vacancies for government sector jobs is most in civil engineering. So if it is where you want to go then choose civil engineering.

If you want job in placement of college then best advise take CSE, IT. And it will help u in placement exams  technical part and will help you in company to do job if you well understood the subject. Otherwise if you want to do higher study or job at psu then only take CORE BRANCH subject and it will give you real practice of daily life those you want to understand in practical life. So think about my small advice those I know I gave you here to help you out. And also talk with your well wishers.
