There is no negative marking for PESSAT 2021.

The exam is conducted for 180 marks. Physics and Mathematics each for 60 marks, chemistry for 40 marks and English for 20 marks.
Each correct answer will be rewarded with 1 mark. You will be awarded zero marks for incorrect answer. Hence there is no negative marking.

The syllabus for PESSAT consists of your class 11th and 12th topics for PCM. Study all the topiics thoroughly. The exact weightage is not provided.
In Mathematics focus more on calculas, coordinate geometry, probability, algebra and trigonometry.
For chemistry both organic as well as inorganic chemistry is important.
For Physics focus more on Electromagnetics, Laws of Motions, Work and Energy, Oscillation, Gravitation, Optics and Thermodynamics

Also due to covid situation, 30% of the syllabus has been reduced. Hence questions from those topics won't be asked.
