Electronics and Communications Engineering (ECE) is the application of science and mathematics to practical problems in the field of electronics and communications. Electronics and communications engineers engage in research, design, development and testing of the electronic equipment used in various systems.Practically it s an electrical engineering  discipline which utilizes nonlinear and active  electrical components (such as semiconductor devices, especially transistors, diodes and integrated circuits) to design electronic circuits, devices, VLSI devices and their systems. The discipline typically also designs passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards.

The ECE branch electronic and communication engineering inwhich the best advantage is you have a option after completing of your engineering based on your mindset you can either wish to go for hardware related jobs or you can go for software related jobs and also another way is that you can start your own business or government job or any other private sector jobs and the ECE little of hardwork you should do compare to computer science engineering
