The fees of the colleges are mostly in two formats, that is, 

• SEMESTER WISE
  
• YEAR WISE

However, it is highly unlikely that college fees is to be deposited for the entire course at once. Now with the advent of semesters in almost all the domains, the fee is also distributed in accordance with the semesters.
