Both the Engineering streams have a very wide range of scope in future an are also a little bit of a same kind but still I would say they are not completely same as they have different objectives. Moreover many students and parents have this misconception that CS is More better than IT which is not true both the streams have their equal Importance.

The Main difference between these two streams are that CS deals with building of Computers and computer programs whereas IT deals with maintaining the system and protecting the network, database to ensure they run without any issues.

So for future prospects too both the fields have wide scope and have an Equal importance as both these work simultaneously hand in hand . I hope I cleared your doubt .
