Darbhanga College of Engineering admits students on the basis of their ranks obtained in Jee Main. Being a government college, the fee is low. The faculties are well qualified and most of them are PhD Scholars. Teachers are supportive. Curriculum is updated very well.

But the placement record is not up to the mark. Most of campus drives are for Computer Science students like Tata, HCl etc. Some cement manufacturing companies come for recruiting CIVIL students.
