• CIVIL,EE,MECH-No core company comes from the past 23 years, so ultimately you will end up preparing for GATE or other competitive exams unless you dont want to get placed in software companies like Wipro, TCS,etc with the package of Rs 34 lakhs p.a & that too with 2 years bond.

• ECE-same condition, just 1 or 2 company come and hardly take 45 students.

• CS,IT-more scope for placement in comparison to others. Dream companies like Snapdeal(currently no more) had knocked the door of CUSAT. Other being Oracle. Their package is b/w Rs. 1015 lakhs p.a. The usuals like TCS, Wipro,etc are obviously there.
