Cochin University will release the CUSAT CAT 2026 eligibility criteria on the official website. The eligibility criteria will comprise education qualification, domicile, qualifying marks, and more. CUSAT CAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

• Candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Class 12th exam.

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics and an overall 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

• Candidates belonging to the SEBC with non-creamy layer status of Kerala State will be considered under the reservation quota and would be required to have 45% in Mathematics alone and 45% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT BA LLB 2025 before filling in the application form. The candidates are required to meet certain criteria as set by the university if they wish to take admission to BA LLB programme. Following criteria are to be met by the candidate: 

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks including languages in Science/Commerce Group or with at least 55% marks including languages in Arts/Humanities Stream. For BSc LLB, candidates must have computer science or maths as one of the subjects in their class 12.
• Candidate belonging to the reserved categories will be required to have at least 50% marks in their 10+2
• Candidate applying for CUSAT CAT BA LLB 2025 should not be more than 20 years (general category) and 22 years (SC/ST) category at the time of applying for the law entrance test.

CUSAT CAT LLB Eligiblity Criteria

The candidates seeking for the admission in the University will be required to meet the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT LLM 2025. The admission will be provided to the candidates who are only eligible. Candidate must possess at least 55% marks in their Bachelor’s degree from any University in the State of Kerala or an any examination from any other University accepted by the Syndicate considered equivalent by the University.

Applicants must meet the required eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT MCA 2025 for admission in the MCA degree programme offered by the University. Candidates must meet the following CUSAT CAT MCA 2025 eligibility criteria to qualify for the admission process.

• Candidates should have studied Mathematics as one of the compulsory subject in their 10+2 or equivalent.
• Candidates should be graduate student with a degree in any of these: Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Engineering / Technology.
• Candidates should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in their graduation.

Cochin University will commence the CUSAT CAT 2026 registration process in February 2026. Candidates who fulfil the eligibility criteria will be able to apply for CUSAT CAT 2026 online.
