Top colleges in India are IIT NIT IIIT BITS VIT and some more.
And you will get admission on basis of JEE advanced and JEE mains ranks in IIT and ( NIT ; IIIT ; GFIT) respectively.
And the rank will decide your admission.
Different colleges have different cut offs for different branch.
Cut offs depends upon the numby of students fill that branch in that college.
You can check cut of each college and branch on Google.
Btw you have to atleast secure a rank under 15000 in JEE mains and under 4-5000 in JEE advanced so that you have many options with you
