First you need to ask yourself, if you can self study for hours and if you need anyone to help you in solving your doubts. If No, then you can just study and prepare at home. But if you need constant guidance and someone to motivate you or to clear out your doubts, then you can for regular classes.

Also, it depends on whether are you preparing for any entrance exam or just college studies. And, if you believe in yourself then you can do it. Even, there are many video tutorials available online. You can access them for queries.
