No, birth certificate is not required for counselling

You will need the following documents for Document Verification and Counselling:

*Your NEET Admit card

*Your  NEET  Rank Letter /score card

* Provisional Allotment Letter

*Your Class 10th mark sheet and certificate

*Class 12 certificate and mark sheet

*Your 8 passport size photographs

* Your photo ID proof (Aadhar card or PAN Card or Passport  or Driving License)

* Caste Certificate (only if it is  applicable)

*PwD Certificate (only if it is  applicable)

Hi there,

According to me,it's not necessary to give Birth certificate as officials can verify your date of birth from your 10th or 12th certificate.

But different councelling have different requirements. So it's better that you must confirm this from the official authority or check in the official website,if it's written that Birth certificate is mandatory than you have to give that.
