Hello,

To get into IIT you need JEE Advanced. For NIT Mains is enough. The admission occurs through JoSAA which is seat allocation authority. The procedure starts around first week of June. There is publication of rank list based on which the admission occurs. You can check for more details at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/josaa
