it entirely depends on what you want to see yourself doing for the entire life or most of it. If you want to go for government jobs and want a secure future then go for the government exams. If you want to have a taste of corporate life then you can work for a while, figure out in that duration that what is better for you, that you want to improve your career prospect in the same field then go for post graduation (only if it gives edge to you after getting work ex ) or if you want to switch then prepare for competitive exams.
