Coming to your question it depends on you what you liked most suppose if you want a government job in psu or if you want a clear the engineering services examination then the ECE will be best for you, but if you want to go for the private side than the IT will be best for you , the placements are their in both the branches so both are good at their places ,

So take the course which is more comfortable to you.
