I will suggest you to strictly follow the class 8 syllabus as the question paper is based on the same syllabus.

The paper will consist hindi, English, mathematics and science.

For mathematics try to solve sample question papers as much as possible.

For English, read newspapers, magazines to enhance your vocabulary.

For hindi, refer your class 8 hindi grammar book.

For science, practicing sample papers will help a lot.

You can download the previous year question papers on the official site of the authority.
