Thapar has always been among the top colleges in india and percentage of placements is always very good.The highest salary package offered was 38 LPA  and the lowest salary package offered was 3 to 4 LPA. Various companies like Google, Amazon, Infosys, D-Shaw, Microsoft, Rurick, Cisco, Texas Instrumentation, san-disk visited the college. There is a placement cell available, and it is quite useful.
