Yes Gujarat government has announced that the schools will reopen for classes 10, 12 from January 11. Gujarat education minister Bhupendrasinh chudasama said that parents consent is required for children's presence in schools and the attendance would be voluntary. With daily Covid tally taking a downward shift over the past few weeks, the Gujarat government on Wednesday announced the reopening of schools for students of classes 10th and 12th from January 11. Schools and other educational institutions have remained shut in the state since March. The decision of reopening the schools for 10 and 12 was taken at a Cabinet meeting held on Wednesday.

The Government of Gujarat announced today that the classes for 10th, 12th Grades and Colleges can reopen from January 11th. They must strictly abide by the Standard Operating Protocol (SOP). Thermal Guns, Sanitizers, etc,. will be provided by the institutions and strict social distancing and wearing masks by the students must be followed. The Government has not yet decided regarding the classes for other Grades!

The Gujarat government on Wednesday announced the reopening of schools for students of classes 10th and 12th from January 11. "Classes for students of 10th and 12th standard will resume from 11th January, following all COVID-19 guidelines," Gujarat's Education Minister Bhupendrasinh Chudasama said, as reported by news agency ANI.
