See Hons is a credit to the student provided the university who have studied a more specialized course and have graduated succesfully with the course. Bachelors and Bachelors with Hons both are the same UG degrees but in case of Hons you get to learn a broad range of subjects. For example, if you are doing BSc with PCM then you will get an overall view of the subjects (all the three) but if you go for BSc Hons program then you have to choose one Main subject in which you will study in details and the remaining two you can choose as electives. So Hons is a specialized program in general and if you are wiling to go in research or you are wiling to go for academics then Hons can be a good choice. But if you are preparing for Government jobs or have aspirations for UPSC and anything like that then Hons will not be that much important. For this case going for a normal bachelors will be better.

I hope this answer helps. All the very best for your future endeavors!
