B.Sc. in Perfusion Technology is a 3- year, full- time undergraduate course .A person who is trained in this course primarily  conducts cardiopulmonary bypass using a heart-lung machine and other ancillary equipments. He/She also closely monitors the patient's blood flow and other important signs during open heart surgery and are also responsible for administering intravenous fluids, blood products and aesthetic drugs.

The average salary one might earn Rs 4 lacs to Rs 15 lacs per annum depending upon the type of hospital where you get employed.
