Hey

Hope you are doing well

The university which usually offers degrees in various fields such as arts, business and science along with engineering names the degree as BE (Bachelor of Engineering). While coming toBTech(Bachelor of Technology), institutes that offer only the professional courses in engineering name the program asBTech.

Hello Chinnu,

Difference between B.Tech and BE

B.Tech course is somewhat more practically intensive than the B.E course which is more theoretical.

B.Tech -

- Bachelor of technology a college that provides technology course. There are many such universities. The course of this degree focuses on application and skill based study and is useful if one is interested in modifying structures to enhance their quality.

- B.Tech is skill oriented which gives more emphasis on practicals.

- Industrial visits and internships are necessary for B.Tech courses.

B.E -

- Bachelor in engineering is a graduate level program done directly after a student's 10+2. After a student's 12th exam, the candidate has to appear for any state or national level engineering entrance exam through which he or she will get admittance into an engineering college. The course of this degree focuses on theoretical knowledge needed to innovate technology and make new technical gadgets.

- B.E. Is considered a knowledge oriented course where more emphasis is given on the theoretical part of the curriculum.

- Industrial visits and internship might be essential part of the curriculum.

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU

GOOD LUCK!

Hii Chinnu!
B.E stand for Bachelor's in Engineering and B.TECH stands for Bachelor's in Technology. The difference between the two is very small. BE is more theory oriented, whereas B.TECH is more based on practical knowledge.  B.TECH is more skill oriented but, B.E is more knowledge oriented.
Hope this helps.
Good luck!

Hello Aspirant, B. tech and B.E both are almkst same courses with changes, B.E means Bachelor of Engineering and B.tech means Bachelor or Technology, One of the differences one could say is that B.Tech is more skill oriented whereas B.E is knowledge oriented. In B.E there are more theoretical parts whereas in B.tech there are more Practical parts. the internship and industrial visits for B.Tech students has more emphasis to the point of being mandatory which is considered essential for B.E course but not mandatory. So, there is not much difference but only slightly different between both the courses.
