ECS branch includes study of analog transmission, basic electronics, solid state devices. It also deals with the manufacturing of electronic devices, circuits, and communications equipment. Computer Science includes programming languages, machine learning and coding. It also deals with computer networks, digital electronics and others.

Talking about packages, both have good packages. But computer science students have higher packages. Both students get jobs in PSUs, MNCs, DRDO, ISRO and IT companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Accenture, HCL Technologies and Tech Mahindra, EXL.
