Physisorption

Physiorption is non specific in nature. It involves Waal's interaction between adsorbate and adsorbent.

On increasing temperature the physiorption decreases.

Physisorption is reversible.

Chemisorption

Chemisorption is highly specific in nature as it involves chemical bond formation  between adsorbate and adsorbent.

On increasing the temperature, chemisorption increases.

Chemisorption is irreversible in nature.
