Operations is the field of management which deals with designing, planning, organising, supervizing, product control and business operations. Operations Management is an important factor for the growth of any organisation. Operations Management is one of the major specializations of MBA.

Suppy Chain and Logistics are the part of Operations Management. See, Operations, Planning and control is the core subject of Operational Management and supply chain management is the part of that subject.
Supply Chain Management involves Identifying suppliers, ensure the quality of the raw materials and regular supply of raw materials.
