The Diploma in Survey Engineering at West Bengal Survey Institute , Hooghly, is an approved technical diploma course. It is a 3-year full-time programme offered by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

Students who have passed Class 10 (SSC) with at least 35% marks are eligible to apply. The course usually has around 60 seats and focuses on surveying and mapping technologies used in civil engineering and land measurement.
