After 12th grade, a lot of colleges administer their own BTech tests, such as VITEEE, LPU NEST, SRMJEEE, BITSAT, etc.  Students typically have to go through extra rounds like the Group Discussion (GD) or Personal Interview (PI) in order to be directly admitted to BTech on the basis of their performance in Class 12.

As per your mentioned query, many private institutions give direct admission on the basis of class 12th marks. There are also some top private colleges that take direct admission here is the list :

• BITS Pilani - This college offers you direct admission but only if you are board topper.
• UPES Dehradun - It also offers you the direct admission on the basis of class 12th marks. You have to meet their eligibility criteria for the admission.
• Anna University - Admission based on TNEA counselling process. You are required to pass class 12th with PCM stream for attending TNEA counselling.
• Chandigarh University
• Manav Rachna University
