As such Biotechnology is a very good stream perhaps, especially after the Covid Pandemic this stream has gathered extreme importance. The Only disadvantage is unlike other branches of engineering, Biotechnology has somewhat low job prospects in Industry, especially after Undergraduation. You need to atleast get a Masters for pursuing Job Prospects in Biotech, Genetics, Innovation or Pharma/Healthcare firms.

However, this stream has excellent scope in the Research and Academic Sector. You may pursue PhD/MS/MTech followed by a career in Research or Academia, maybe India or Abroad, maybe in the Private or Public Research Sector.
