IPC SECTION 120

• Whoever planning to work  or realizing that it will generally be probable that he will in this way work with the commission of an offense culpable with death or [imprisonment for life]; deliberately covers, by any demonstration or illicit exclusion, the presence of a plan to submit such offense or makes any portrayal which he knows to be not genuine regarding such plan
• In case offense be submitted , be not dedicated, that offense be submitted, be rebuffed with detainment of one or the other portrayal for a term which might reach out to seven years , or then again, if the offense be not dedicated, with detainment of one or the other depiction, for a term which might stretch out to three years , and regardless will likewise be responsible to fine.

ILLUSTRATION

A, realizing that dacoity is going to be submitted at B, erroneously illuminates the Magistrate that a dacoity is going to be submitted at C, a spot a contrary way and in this way deludes the Magistrate with aim to work with the commission of the offense. The dacoity is submitted at B in compatibility of the plan. A is culpable under this segment.
