You haven't mentioned the course for which you want to know whether distance education students are eligible or not. Actually,  if you have completed your 12th from recognized open schools like nios then you will face any problem in most of the cases for admission.  For example,  nios students are eligible for both jee and neet and if they clear these exams then can take admission as well.
