Hello,
The eligiblity criteria for appearing in CDSE is that the candidate should have a degree in any discipline or be in final year of graduation.
So, if you can clear the backlogs before the last date asled in the official notification of CDSE, you are eligible.
However if you clear the written test and reach the SSB interview, you will be asked for the reason for backlogs, and expected to give a logical explanation for it.
