Yes, you can get seat under Home State Quota. Do not expect the best ones. But as far as previous year closing ranks are concerned, you can get seat allotment in the North ( NIT Srinagar ) or the North East ( NIT Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram ) under the Home State Quota. At this rank, you won't get the most trending branches but few core maybe at these above mentioned NITs.
