See there are many private universities & colleges which offers admission to different UG engineering courses on the basis of JEE MAINS. But some institutes such as VIT, SRM, Manipal University, Chandigarh University, LPU etc conducts there own entrance test. So if you are interested to go for any of this colleges, then filing application form for there corresponding entrance will be helpful.

Hope you are doing good. As, you can see most of the colleges will participate in JEE counselling every year. However, there are certain institutes in which you can get direct admission, for this JEE marks were not essential, for such colleges, you need to fill the application form separately, disregard to JEE application.
