Admission process vary from state to state. Some colleges/Universities admit students to BPT on the basis of NEET scores while in some states admission is on the basis of marks in the qualifying exams.
For example, In Maharashtra, admission to BPth is through the state counselling conducted on the basis of NEET UG rank and in Telangana admissions are offered on the basis of marks in the qualifying exam.
Also, some Universities may conduct its own entrance exam for admission to the course.
