Hey!

The GATE 2022 test will be organised by IIT Kharagpur. If the Aadhar Card or any other acceptable Photo Identity Proof is not recent, the candidate is required to get it updated as it would be used applying and performing in GATE 2022. You must also scan and upload a colour copy of your Photo Identity Proof on the application form.

So, yes you need to get you Aadhar updated with recent photo.

But I already written the gate exam last year with that old photo- aadhar ID proof. Is this rule implemented in this year?
