If you donot score the required percentile for your category, you will not be eligible for counselling and so you will not be called. Counselling is only for eligible candidates. But if the seats are not filled according to the first qualifying percentiles, then the percentiles are reduced and then again counselling is conducted. This happens until seats are filled. But such chances are very less because there are only 200 seats and almost 3 lakhs students wrote JIPMER this year.
