Karunya Institute of Technology and Sciences inTamil Nadu offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral Degree programmes in Engineering, Biotechnology, Food processing and Agricultural Sciences.

Karunya university admission is via its entrance exam which is The Karunya Entrance Examination (KEE-2019) which will be held in 53 centres across India ( and not via the JEE marks one obtains). Those candidates who wish to take admission in B.Tech. / B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture programs should qualify in the KEE-2019.

Both the IT and ECE departments are good at Karunya university.

Karunya University does not accept JEE - Main score, KU conducts its own entrance test that is Karunya Entrance Test (KEE). The placement rate of KU is very good for both ECE and IT department. The fees is around Rs. 2 lacs per year and the total fees for 4 years is Rs. 724,000/-.

I don't think Karunya university accept jee mains score. It has its seperate entrance test for selection procedure i.e. KEE. But it is a good college for pursuing both ECE or IT since it is an AAAA  rated and AICTE approved college and have good placements. Total fees to pursue IT or ECE in this university is 8.24 lakhs.
