Hello dear,

Yes You will need a laptop because you will be useful in designing and giving presentations.Work will go on for a few days in college but you will have problems later. It will be easier than a laptop to make and present shipbuilding designs.

Hello,

A laptop is unquestionably necessary for all students if they are serious about achieving in life, not just those studying architecture.

If you live a nomadic lifestyle without a laptop, you will miss out on a wide range of chances that internet access will open up for you. Better purchase a laptop, then.

The first year is spent honing your manual dexterity through drafting, sketching, etc. Even so, you would take classes in office, SketchUp, AutoCAD, etc. You would use university computers for that starting in your first year.

As reports and presentations begin in the second year, you could need it.

When the college permits you to work on software also depends on them. Typically, it begins around the middle of the second year.

Thank You
