I want online courses with free certification in the field of architecture and Graphic design

Ayshwarya Mahadevan 12th Dec, 2025

If you are looking for online courses with free certification in the field of architecture and graphic design, there are several platforms that offer quality learning without fee. For architecture, you can start with basic courses that cover architectural drawing, design principles, building structures and sustainable design. These free courses often introduce you to tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp and basics of architectural visualization, which are useful for future studies or portfolio building. For graphic design, free online courses typically include fundamentals of design, colour theory, typography, layout, digital illustration and software tools like Photoshop and Illustrator.

Many platforms allow you to enrol and complete lessons at your own pace, and after finishing assignments and quizzes you can download a free certificate to add to your resume or portfolio. These courses are beneficial if you want to explore the fields before committing to a full degree or diploma programme, and they also help you build practical skills that employers and design schools value. When choosing free certified courses, check the course syllabus, duration and whether the certificate is provided upon completion without payment.

Starting with these kinds of courses can strengthen your foundation in both architecture and graphic design and improve your chances in admissions, internships or freelancing in the future. All the best.

Architecture field or designing field, which is best for good and valuable career

Sankalp Agrawal 4th Nov, 2025

Hello,

Both architecture and designing offer good careers, but the choice depends on your interests:

  • Architecture – Best if you enjoy planning buildings, technical drawing, and construction design. It offers long-term stability and good pay but needs a 5-year degree (BArch) and licensing.

  • Designing – Ideal if you’re creative and prefer fashion, interior, graphic, or UI/UX design. It offers faster career entry and more flexibility.

If you want a technical and structured career, go for architecture.
If you prefer creativity and innovation, choose designing.

Hope it helps.

is b.tech Naval architecture and Ocean engeneering is good at imu Chennai can u tell other best colleges?

SEJAL JAIN 9th Sep, 2025

Hello

B.Tech in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering at IMU Chennai is a solid choice, especially for those aiming for a maritime career. The university offers good infrastructure, decent placements, and industry exposure. However, if you're looking for the best in India, consider IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, or CUSAT in Kochi. These colleges have stronger research, faculty, and global recognition. Choose based on your career goal.

Ark Pandey 20th Sep, 2025

Hello Hasini,

I understand your frustration regarding the delay in the AP B.Arch counselling process. As of today, September 20, 2025, the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) has not yet released the official schedule for the AP B.Arch 2025 counselling. However, based on previous years' timelines, here's an estimated schedule:

  • Registration & Document Verification : Expected to commence in October 2025 .

  • Web Options Entry : Likely to begin in October 2025 .

  • Seat Allotment Results : Anticipated in November 2025 .

  • Reporting to Allotted Colleges : Expected in November 2025 .

  • Commencement of Classes : Likely to start in December 2025 .

Please note that these dates are based on previous years and are subject to change. I recommend regularly checking the official APSCHE website for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries, feel free to share your questions with us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Thank you, and I wish you all the best in your bright future.

Please help me my wbjee rank gmr rank 41869 and my category OBC B rank 3689 so I get architecture engineering in jadavpur university and how much free

Rithwik Kumar Sahu 29th Aug, 2025

With a GMR 41869 and OBC-B rank 3689, admission to Architecture at Jadavpur University is quite difficult. JU cutoffs for B.Arch are usually very high, often closing within a few thousand ranks overall, and most seats go to top rankers. As for fees, JU is a government university, so it’s very affordable—around 2,500–5,000 per year, much cheaper than private colleges. You may get Architecture in some private or state colleges, but chances at JU with your rank are very low.

I have interest in architecture but parent are recommending me doing engineering (due to low wages in arch). so,Im planning to do civil engineering and then masters in architecture abroad. Is there will be difference between civil-architecture and arch-arch? do you recommend?pros and cons? worth it?

SHUBHRADIP ROY 28th Aug, 2025

Hello Aspirant,

A Civil Engineering bachelor's degree followed by a master's in Architecture is a valid path. The main difference is that a B.Arch focuses on design, while Civil Engineering emphasizes structure and safety. Your combination would make you a stronger candidate in firms that need both design and structural expertise. It is a worthwhile path, though it will take a longer time to get licensed.
