The placement scenario after M.Tech(Non Cse/IT) is average in NITs. It actually varies from college to college. Like NIT Trichy and NIT Warangal have good placements for M.tech candidates as well. But NIT Bhopal, NIT Nagpur can't provide lucrative placements.

I would like to suggest you to please focus on your self-development. A guy with good personality, skill and attitude can get a job after his M.tech even if he is not from IITs/NITs.

Similary an IITian/NITian would obviously face rejection if HE/SHE lacks in skill, personality and attitude.

So work hard and stay confident.
