It depends on where you work and what type of work you do.A radiologist can work in the following places. As a consultant in private hospital or private medical college, consultant in government medical college hospital either state or central, consultant in private scan centers or start their own scan center.More than 95% radiologists do only diagnostic studies, like USG, CT and MRI. Very few do intervention and salary is 1 to 3 lakhs per annum, depending on their post and experience, with 1 lakh as minimum.
