Do surgeons work in hospitals or do they do surgeries on contract basis ,meaning they just use the hospital room

There are recruited doctors in the hospitals. So a Surgeon also gets recruited by the hospital on a basis of contract or permanently depending on the hospital or the doctors will. So you will have quite a broad perspective of choices available. There are many surgeons who used to practice in different hospitals all across India. Surgery is a skill. The good you will learn, the broader will be your prospect.
