Yes, Gen-EWS/SC/ ST/OBC(NCL)/ PwD candidates are required to upload original certificate as per prescribed formats issued by the competent authority of their respective State.

But if you can't produce an EWS certificate before counseling, there's only one way left for you. You'll have to apply through general category rank in the counseling process and ignore your EWS rank. In that way, whatever branch you get through general category rank will be accountable.

If you wish to avail seats under Reservation for EWS-General category then it is mandatory for you to submit EWS Certificate as a category certificate while registering. However, if you do not submit the certificate then you will be registered under General Category.
