The course included many of the biological concepts along with the engineering concepts. It included the study of biotechnology, microbiology, enzyme technology Thus, it is more preferable if a student chooses all the four subjects that are physics, chemistry, maths and biology. Some of the colleges accept applications even if a student does not include biology in their curriculum, whereas some of the colleges such as SRM university needs biology as a compulsory subject.
