Does 12th board pass percentage effect in NEET counselling?What if I get less than 90%in intermediate board and while NEET counselling.... if I GET EQUAL marks with someone and next criteria to compare would be boards?

hi harika,

There is no need to worry about boards much, you just need to clear the minimum cutoff of percentage in12th class :

SC/ST/OBC: 40%
PH/PWD: 45%
General: 50%


After this you will get college for mbbs only on the basis of neet rank. Even if you get same score , you don't need to worry because you will be selected on the basis of your NEET rank which unique to every candidate.

They award rank on few criteria serially below

  1. Marks in biology.
  2. Marks in chemistry.
  3. Least no. Of negative marks in exam.
  4. Candidate with older age would be preferred.

So work hard for NEET.
