All the good colleges in the country consider JEE mains score along with boards results. Generally, a merit list is formed by good colleges in which JEE score and boards percentage is considered. So, to be in the merit list you should have good results in both JEE and 12th standard. Only then you can get admission in good engineering college.

The Jee mains doesn't consider your board exam score, but you should have a minimum of 75% in order to qualify for the exam. Some state level entrance exams like KCET do consider your PCM scores in the board exam for ranking. It all depends on which exam you write.
