Does caste make any difference in getting admission in engineering colleges

Yes it creates a difference in admission to engineering colleges as the cutoffs of different categories are different for different colleges and entrance exams . The cutoffs of general category is more whereas cutoffs of obc and SC/St category is less which means general candidates have to score more marks in the same exam as compared to other category candidates.

*Difficulty level of the exam

Yes, based on the Category the candidates belongs to, the admission in Engineering Colleges depends.

There will be cut-offs for different categories and candidates get admission based on their category too.
