Delhi School of Economics, established in 1949, is a public college affiliated to University of Delhi. The college is located in New Delhi.

Currently, Delhi School of Economics offers courses in Economics, Geography, and Sociology at UG, PG and Ph.D. levels. The college offers BA, MA, M. Phil and Ph.D. in Economics with over 100 seats.

There is no minimum age requirement to apply for Delhi School of Economics Courses.

Delhi School of Economics Admission is done according to the guidelines issued by the University of Delhi.

Students applying for UG courses must have scored at least 40% marks.

Students who are applying for courses specializing in a subject should have passed that subject in their qualifying examination.

All PG admissions are conducted through either merit or entrance. 50 % of the seats are filled with merit and the other 50% on the entrance.

All PG candidates must have scored 40% in UG examinations.

Students applying for MA in Economics must have 60% marks in the qualifying examination.

For MA Geography, the candidate must have BA (Hons)/B.Sc(Hons) in Geography with 50% OR BA/B.Sc./B.Ed with 50% marks and 55% marks in Geography OR BA/BA(Hons)/B.Sc/B.Sc(Hons) with 60% marks.

Admission to all M. Phil and Ph. D courses are through written examination and a Personal Interview.

All M. Phil/Ph. D candidates must have studied the subject they are applying for at the qualifying examinations.
