Manipal Academy of Higher Education conducts an entrance exam for the course- BA Culinary Arts which is under the WelcomGroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration(WGSHA). It's not a university level entrance test, but a Department Test(DT). The entrance is conducted by the WGSHA to take admissions in the B.A. Culinary Arts.

B.A. Culinary Arts is a 3-year course which includes

1. Tutorials by expert chefs

2. Cooking demonstrations

3. Product sampling, delicacies tasting and sensory evaluations.

Now, coming to the entrance exam. WGSHA conducts an online test for admissions into B.A. Culinary Arts consisting of 60 MCQs. The duration of the test is 60 minutes with no negative marking for the wrong answers.

The online department test will be followed by Group Discussion (GD), Panel Interview and Personal Interview (PI), for the shortlisted candidates

Syllabus of the exam;-

1. English(vocabulary, synonym, antonym, etc)

2. Numerical Ability, Analytical Reasoning and Logical Deduction

3. General Knowledge & Current Events

Eligibility:-

Candidates who have cleared class XII and have passed every subject are eligible for the test and the course.
