The general trend in most of the colleges in India is to wear uniforms designated for core branches like civil (https://www.opju.ac.in/soe_civil) , mechanical (https://www.opju.ac.in/soe_mech) , and EE (https://www.opju.ac.in/soe_eee) courses. Students are also required to wear shoes. There are the same rules for BTech (https://www.opju.ac.in/school_of_engineering_btech) students at OPJU. This is because the college wants to develop the student professionally. A professional development fee is also included in the fee structure as professional development fees.

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing absolutely great.

So with regard to your query, YES generally, students are provided uniforms in the college. However, they should be wore occasionally and not on a daily basis. It is not mandatory to wear them daily.
